I am a proud member of the Mi'kmaq community, and my name means Thomas in my traditional language. I am proud Cree woman from Treaty 6 territory. As a virtual cultural awareness trainer for Balsam, I am passionate about sharing the importance of cultural understanding and empathy in our personal and professional lives.
